Time truly flies when you are immersed in meaningful work. This week’s two legislative conferences provided a valuable opportunity to engage in solutions-driven policy discussions, share ideas, and collaborate with colleagues from across the nation. It was a productive and inspiring few days, and after a full schedule of meetings, I am grateful to be back home in Loudoun.
2026 General Assembly Page Program

Pages get to see the legislative process firsthand and are an invaluable part of the General Assembly!
Are you or someone you know a high school student who is interested in civics, government, or public service? The General Assembly Page Program offers a unique, hands-on opportunity for students to experience the legislative process up close. Selected Pages work full-time at the Capitol during the General Assembly session, assisting lawmakers, attending workshops, and gaining invaluable insight into state government.
This is more than just civic education; it is a chance to build leadership skills, meet peers from across Virginia, and contribute meaningfully to the democratic process.

National Conference of State Legislatures
It is a privilege to be surrounded by so many dedicated colleagues!
This week, I had the opportunity to attend the National Conference of State Legislatures (“NCSL”), where lawmakers and policy experts from across the country gathered to share ideas, explore solutions, and learn about policies to take back home to our communities. From conversations about the cost of living and housing, to healthcare, public safety, emerging technologies, and education – the conference offered invaluable insights and best practices that I look forward to bringing back to Virginia.
Connecting with colleagues from other states also reminded me that while every community faces unique challenges, many of our goals are shared—and collaboration is key to progress.
If you are passionate about an issue or have a legislative idea, email my office at [email protected], and a member of my team will reach out.
Virginia Alcohol Safety Plan Conference
After NCSL, I attended the Virginia Alcohol Safety Action Program (“VASAP”) Conference. Protecting community safety is one of our most urgent responsibilities, and at this conference, state and local leaders came together to explore solutions that help individuals become productive, self-reliant members of society while strengthening the communities we all share. The conference focused on evidence-based solutions, including expanding access to ignition interlock technology, improving education and early intervention programs, and improving coordination between courts, law enforcement, and treatment providers.
It is clear that when we invest in smarter, community-based strategies, we can reduce repeat offenses, save lives, and support individuals on the path to accountability and recovery. I am committed to advancing legislation that builds on this work and ensures every Virginian can travel safely on our roads. If you would like to learn more about VASAP, click the button below:
National Intern Day

Pictured are our interns Charles, Saba, and Jill talking with me about the issues they care about most!
On National Intern Day, we proudly celebrate the incredible contributions of the interns who power our office behind the scenes. Their energy, curiosity, and commitment to public service help drive our work forward every single day.
Interns are often the next generation of leaders, and we are honored to provide a space where they can learn about policymaking, constituent services, and community engagement firsthand. Thank you to all the interns, past and present, who have brought their talents to our team. Your work matters, and your future is bright.
ENDORSEMENT ALERT!

I am honored to have the endorsement of the Virginia Professional Fire Fighters. I am proud to stand with them in the fight for fair pay, strong benefits, and safe working conditions!

Proud to be part of a powerhouse slate of women who are changing the game in Virginia politics.
How My Office Can Help
Navigating state agencies can be confusing and difficult at times. As the delegate for House District 27, I can help you communicate with state agencies such as the Virginia Employment Commission, Departments of Taxation, Social Services, Transportation, and more! I can also submit inquiries with those agencies on your behalf. There are limits to what I can do, however. For example, I am unable to expedite cases or force state agencies to favor your inquiry, provide legal advice or recommend a specific attorney, intervene with judicial issues, overturn decisions, or be involved with matters between private businesses.
Whether you require my office’s assistance, want to bring an issue to my attention or invite me to a community event, please reach out! If there is any way I can assist you, please reach out here: https://atoosareaser.com/help/
Alongside constituent services, I can submit drafts for commending and memorial resolutions. If you know of a person or organization in the district that deserves special recognition, please submit a request here: resolution request form.
