As the unofficial start of summer approaches, we pause to remember the true meaning of Memorial Day. It’s a sacred day of remembrance for the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice defending our nation. Their legacy is the freedoms that we hold so dear. This weekend, let’s take time to honor those who may not be with us, but whose example lives on through us.

It was an honor to recognize Ryan Alam and his family for their work in curing a rare disease: neurodegeneration with brain iron accumulation (NBIA)! Ryan is known throughout the community for his courage, sense of adventure, and joy for life. #BeLikeRyan

Strong relationships between state and local leaders are the key to solution-oriented policies, and I am committed to continue partnering with our Board of Supervisors to deliver results for Loudoun County! Congratulations to Chairwoman Randall on a successful State of the County address!

Labor never quits! Celebrating the work of unions with advocates for workers’ rights from across Northern Virginia. Our unions have been the vehicle for economic mobility: advocating for the eight-hour work day, child labor laws, fair wages and working conditions, and more.

Creating a work plan for 2025-26 and receiving briefings, including the causes and impact of fentanyl use, at the Joint Commission on Health Care meeting.

Enjoyed the great conversations at the AAPI get-together in Richmond!

Navigating state agencies can be confusing and difficult at times. As your delegate, I can help you communicate with state agencies such as the Virginia Employment Commission, Departments of Taxation, Social Services, Transportation, and more! I can also submit inquiries with those agencies on your behalf and help you engage with the state agency you need. There are limits to what I can do, however. For example, I am unable to expedite cases or force state agencies to favor your inquiry, provide legal advice or recommend a specific attorney, intervene with judicial issues, overturn decisions, or be involved with matters involving private businesses.

Whether you want to bring an issue to my attention, need my office’s assistance, or want to invite me to a community event, please reach out! If there is any way I can assist you, please let me know here: https://atoosareaser.com/help/.

Alongside constituent services, one of my greatest honors as a Delegate is being able to celebrate residents of HD-27 who have displayed local, state, or national distinction through resolutions. My office can put in commending and memorial resolutions during the primary legislative session or a special session. If you know someone or a community organization in the district that you think deserves special recognition, a member of my staff will reach out to speak with you about your request. Please use this form to submit a request: resolution request form.
